Here are the songs we reviewed this week: When We're on the Farm, Sleeping Bunnies, Pig Jig, What Can a Cow Do?, Farmyard Cats, Chicken Talk, Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Shoo Fly, Giddy Up, My Pony, I Love the Mountains and Six Little Ducks. We also sang a new song Moving Down the Street and we had fun keeping the beat in our feet moving around the room.

This week we practiced audience etiquette as we listened to some of our classmates play the piano. We learnt two new songs: Farmyard Cats and Pig Jig, and we had fun waking around the room and keep the beat on our feet singing different songs.

Chicken Talk

This week in Music we learned about high and low sounds and we sang and play Shaking Your Maracas. We learnt a new song: Sleeping Bunnies and reviewed: Chicken Song, Dingle Dangle Scarecrow and What Can A Cow Do? We had fun dancing to the songs.
 
This week sang Shaking Your Maracas and I Am the Music Man used Maracas and Tambourines to accompany the song. We learnt two new songs: Chicken Talk and What Can A Cow Do? We created actions for the songs.

This week we sang three new songs: I Sent A Valentine, Pony Song and Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. We also sang We Like To Play adding percussion instruments on it: woodblocks, shakers, tambourines, cymbals and drums.

This week we sang The Farmer in the Dell, Baa, Baa Black Sheep and we learnt two new songs: When We're On the Farm, and Giddy Up Horsey.

We continued our Chinese Music topic and we learnt about Pipa - a chinese plucked string instrument. We sang four new songs: I Love the Mountains, Skidamarink, Stick Song and My Pony. We had fun adding instruments to the songs (drums and claves).

We continued our topic on Chinese Music and learnt about the ErHu - a traditional chinese bowed string instrument. We sang Chinese New Year Songs and we had fun adding Chinese percussion instruments (Drums, Gongs and Cymbals) to the songs.
