Dear Student and Parents,
As part of the music extension programme, we will once again be offering a special choir as an elective activity for Year 2 students. This choir is known as the Mulan Choir and will be rehearsing on Tuesday afternoons, 2-3pm in the DUCKS Music Room. Students who elect to be in this choir are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances and must make a year- long commitment to the group.
Choir participation requires a high level of commitment, good vocal tone quality and pitch accuracy in order to ensure a high standard of performance.Choir rehearsals will be lots of fun and socially and musically developmental, but will also introduce the children to the discipline of participating in ensemble music-making.
We'll be performing for the first time this year: Monday, 24th October celebrating UN Day.
The choir will be directed by Rodica Hategan.
