This week we had fun adding percussion instruments to our recorder songs. We also learnt a new note on recorder, Note E, and we played two new songs on recorder: Elephants and Indian Warrior (RECORDER PRACTICE SHEET 10).
We sang two new songs: Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Fallow the Yellow Brick Road.

       Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow

Skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream

Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far Behind me.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me.
 Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

                       Fallow the Yellow Brick Road

Follow the Yellow Brick Road.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road.
Follow, follow, follow, follow,
Follow the Yellow Brick Road.

Follow the Yellow Brick,
Follow the Yellow Brick,
Follow the Yellow Brick Road,
Follow the Yellow Brick,
Follow the Yellow Brick,
Follow the Yellow Brick Road
